In terms of inspiration, I don't try to follow any specific heros or mentors - but instead just a large collection of work that I find intriguing, visually energizing. Though, certain names do come up more frequently. As for this shoot, Helmut Newton's work clearly influenced it, and the book the model is browsing in some of the shots, is a book of his work which is a fun self-reference.
