Everything I make is made with reason; however, ROMs are surreal so the viewer can project their emotions onto the pieces, to the point where the art becomes a part of them and they become a part of the art. Artists that I love are ones where I can have a conversation with their work, such as George Condo, Ryan McGinley, James Victore, Takashi Murakami & Keith Haring. Artists that I look up to are past professors and peers with whom I can open up about my world. I try not to worry about being "fresh;" my work has to have a conversation with me, force me to think about ideas I would normally bury.  As for inspiration, nature is the largest, and what we do with our time between birth and death is the second.
