Going Home I would classify my favorite kind of photography as dark and moody. I like to create work that is different from the norm, or maybe portraying parts of society that make people uncomfortable. Ultimately, I want my viewers to feel something when they look at my work. It could be humor, it could be sadness, it could even be repulsion, but my work is meant to be emotional. For young photographers, my best advice is to shoot constantly. Every once in a while photographers get lucky, but most of the time great photos come from taking hundreds and thousands of bad photos to get a handful of great ones. Practice makes perfect in every form of art and photography is no different. If your camera is in your hand constantly, the quality of your work will reflect your dedication and you’ll soon be shooting amongst the best.
