Though I’d never been very interested in photography, I grew up on 25 acres of farmland and was constantly exploring and capturing various creatures to bring home, much to my mother’s dismay. I decided when I turned sixteen that a better way to bring nature home was with photographs and bought my first camera; a Kodak DX7590 point and shoot.
I shot with that camera until it hardly worked anymore before upgrading to a DSLR in 2007. Over the next 4 years, I completed two yearly photography projects and really decided to pursue photography as a full time career. Today, I have a passion for all kinds of photography and am rarely without a camera.
