Yannick Monsegur : return
I had already shot in this location in daylight, but I wanted to show the other part, the night time (Yin & Yang) using more B&W.

At night, with the light sand on the beach we got strong shadows. There was little time for the original shoot so I had no time to do these images. I met later with the clothes stylist who was interested by the idea, so this is a mix of personal and commercial work.

I want try this way of shooting in my next art project... I think there is a good balance in esthetic B&W and story here. In Chinese history & symbolism the Yin Yang symbol represented a good balance between day & night or masculine & feminine.

I shoot black & white images which are complementary to the color images I also create. It's important to show your personal vision, to show emotion in your photography.

If you're just starting out, the first step is too choose a good photo school in your future field of photography (that's of course, if you know already).

Then be an assistant or in an agency for your training so you know the work and meet the people in your field. Shoot a lot, all time.
