Photography is definitely a solitary pursuit for me and I like it that way, I don't do any commercial work. In fact, if you look at my work, you will quickly come to realize that I almost never photograph people. I am very social in general, but I really like to work alone when it comes to photography. In the past 5 years or so, my work has really focused on the relationship between humans and the natural world. The one thing which links all of my work - past and present - is that I am really a formalist at heart. No matter what I photograph, I really need the final image to be beautiful. . .
