My advice to photographers is know your craft.

We are in an interesting time today where people are learning things out of sequence. It used to be someone taught you "A", and then "B" and then "C". Now you learn on your own using the internet. As a result, there are people who have a great understanding of "G", but no concept of "A". They know how to retouch like a pro...but they use that skill to make up for the fact that they don't know the basics of photography. I advise you to make your knowledge base as comprehensive as you can. It doesn't matter what order you learn in, just make sure you learn the basics at some point.

Thanks for listening.
