When I was
young, I couldn't have imagined an ISO of more than 400. Even with my
f1.4 lens I would never have been able to shoot sharp with a 60 watt
light source without a tripod. Today the most basic camera comes with an auto-iso that runs up to 1600 or better. But you have to pay more to get manual control so you can crank it back down to 400 and f11 for a long exposure. Tungsten that looks like tungsten? You fight the camera. A standard f1.4 lens?
