How important feedback from the net is, depends on context.  Commercially, it is always good to hear feedback from my clients and editors so I can provide them with images that enable their products and ideas.  Working well with people and creating a collaborative environment is important to me. Artistically, I enjoy talking to my mentors who provide me with acute observations and help me focus on my approach in the future.
