I think it was 2001… I must have been 22. At that time night changed to day in my life. I started working in a bar called “Lift”, which was located on the 11th floor of a building and was officially registered as a studio of contemporary art. After 2-3 a.m. when house parties and other clubs became boring, crowds of people gathered there to have fun.

My camera was always around and I captured whatever nightlife images I liked. The life that went on in Lift was very interesting. We had movies on Wednesdays. During the revolution we had a screen lit by a floodlight which read: “W+E+L+O+V+E+T+H+E+R+E+V+O+L+U+T+I+O+N...”
