These photographs represent a series of one subject shot over a period of roughly one year, her name is Alina and she comes from Russia, she is an artist, designer, dreamer, poet, seeker, and great lover of art and literature.
None of these were very planned out images, they were shot with the trip in mind as either sojourn or last minute drive. Alina moves like a dancer and in fact was a gymnast and runner in her own country. Her true country is the places she moves through in her mind that draws from her homeland and her current city NYC.
