I was
born in Paris but grew up in Switzerland. At the age of 20 I
began a career as an independant computer consultant. Around the same
time I started experimenting with photography during many expeditions across
Africa where I spent months exploring the different types of deserts. After a number of years I
decided to improve my photographic technical skills and learn more about this medium; so in 2004 I started a one
year study program in a photographic school in Geneva. After
completeing a number of workshops in a variety of subjects including
portrait, fashion and advertising, I decided in 2006, to start my own
photographic project called ‘l’âme de fond'. This project involved using
long exposures, a medium format camera and black
& white film.
