I enjoy shooting fashion because the genre enables me to be artistically creative. My style is more classic in that I don't do much in photoshop that can't be done in the film darkroom. I love and still use film in my work from time to time. As a matter of fact when I shoot digitally, I try to emulate different films to add more dimension and feeling to the image.
Until 2008 I was self taught in the photographic arts. In that year I received a certificate in Professional Photography from The New York Institute of Photography. I'm now working toward a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography with plans to go for a masters after that.
