Fabien Kruszelnicki : return
I think the best advice I can give and have been given when starting out is that you really have to keep at it and not get disheartened. Be critical of your work and understand where you are coming from and that you are happy with it deep down. If it's not right you'll know. It is always good to get as much experience as you can. Lighting set-ups and behind the scenes experience is all invaluable, but I was once told that there are a lot of people out there who are happy for you to work for free forever, so although you need to get experience you need to be realistic.
