But whatever our future is, it is still just another way of experiencing life / ourselves / being here. It is neither ‘utopian’ nor ‘dystopian’. Not yet anyway. But it’s crucial that we don’t just plug into the system, put on our best screen ‘outfit’, and switch off. We are the future! We are making it every minute, with tiny steps and giant leaps. We need to continue to be young, and wild at heart. And to dream deeply, and travel through the shadows – and maybe lose our hopes – yet emerge out the other side with new ones; new ideas of life, new visions of this thing called ‘future’. Because without all of these, there really, really isn’t one!
