It is easy to take courses or read books to learn the basic technical skills. What is difficult and way more important is developing a sense of frame, the ability to create a story in a single frame, and to understand how a subtle difference in expression, body language, or shadows can make all the difference in the world to the final image. I think this development is only achieved through doing and reviewing with peer groups and mentors.
