Girl from Ohio

Once Rolling Stone magazine called me offering a job. They never called back. It hurt. Once Tom Waits called me, after a lot of tracking him down he left a message on my machine saying "Hey Mike I got your package, give me a call I'll be around".

I got very excited,  I was going to take Tom Waits' picture. I called him and he said "You know I'd rather be behind the control panel than on the launch pad". Shit, he said no to a photoshoot. He called me to say no. That was hard, and many other disappointments since.
