This series is personal work, raised from a reflection on photography and/versus reality. Many purists are very hostile to photo retouching or even editing or cropping because they believe we should not distort reality. I consider that photography is by nature a distortion of reality.

Even if you don't use software and computers, when you decide to shoot in black and white, when you choose one lens rather than another, when you select one shot in a series over another, you affect reality. Moreover, reality is in 3 dimensions and moving. It is totally unrealistic to think that a photo can be an objective representation of the world.

This is just what I tried to take to its extreme in these images by introducing photos within photos, images interracting with reality...
