Feeling the need to be more, Wren booked a flight the day he became a Tradesman. Scotland would become Wren’s home and where the seeds of photography where to be planted. Having never held an SLR camera before, Wren’s flatmate introduced him to photography and its workings. It wasn’t long until Wren was scouring Op shops for photography books and posing as a student at Edinburgh University to fill his sudden urge to soak in as much information as possible.
