I came back slowly to painting and started to work in photography on the larger formats 4 x 5 inches, than 8 x 10 inches. I discovered Polaroid film and it fits completely with my education in painting. I bought a Plaubel and a Deardorff and began to photograph Haute Couture clothes from John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier. They both gave me the chance to work with their collections and left me free with my vision.
The first series I photographed was very ethnic, very strong. I remember when I photographed my first Galliano dress with a girl from Kazakhstan in my studio. I felt very good in my soul when my travels and paintings came together.
