I think there has been a continuum in my work. My paintings already represented bodies; my very first pictures were of modern circus shows. This studio work allows me to be more personal, more intimate with my models. We are working with their personality, trying to create a pure “physical” state of work without seduction, provocation or gratuity.

I like when my models get into an abstracted, absent state of being, and that the only visible pitch in my images would be the one I put there, showing the beauty and respect I want to show.
