I spent the first 3 years of college pursuing this understanding and fighting my old desire to create the images that I found in those individuals I was studying. Those faces that evoked such emotion in me as a child had reinvigorated my need to create. It was in my fourth year of college that I finally gave in to my desire to create and changed my focus of study to photography. Photography has become my primary means of exploring our world and my dreams.
