The nude is a delicate world where you can express yourself (and not make a coin) or make a vulgar portrait of passion (which sells a lot). Trying to find a place in between is my work in progress.

Portraiture, as I see it, is a matter of “do not be seen”. I say to my models “forget me”. I prefer being on location to the studio, to find the light and build on it.

In fashion and beauty I always have a team approach. You need a hairstylist, a make up artist. For portraiture I don't want a team. I need to be alone, to walk around the model, to be like the furniture, part of the scene. I need the model to forget I am there and a troupe of assistants is not a help.
