I was born 1969 in a small town near Frankfurt am Main where my father directed a private psychiatric sanatorium. When I was six he died and my mother and I moved to Rome, Italy where I passed a sunny childhood.

After the study of photography in Munich 1995 and a short period in London I moved to Berlin, where I'm living now with my wonderful wife, working as a freelance photographer.
