Luck had it that the story is a nostalgic one, and while I did not bring my weapon of choice (Canon 5D) on this trip, I did bring my Contax G1 with assorted lenses with me.  This camera was highly recommended to me by Marko Cecic-Karuzic, and I have loved it since I bought it (for a song, I must say) last year.  The Zeiss lenses are fantastic, and the way it allows the photographer to "flow" with the view fits the way I work.  And I knew a certain film would work well with the visual I want.
