My photography heroes change according to my state of mind and where I am at in my life. My first was James Nachtway, Paolo Pellegrin, Antonin Kratochvil, Alex Majoli and many other Magnum photographers. I was always interested in the theme of their images, the content, and how it was told by them.

Now I am starting to look more at the pure esthetic of an image. Once again, that is due to my personal need and internal ‘soul searching’. It is as if what I try to shoot represents the ‘I’ that I am or am trying to be in that moment, inside and outside.
