Having said that, now let introduce myself. My name is Mario, I am an Italian cartoonist, illustrator (and in the past an historian), living and working in Dublin, where I am an associate member of the Guild of Illustrators of Ireland, the Donquichotte Website and Magazine representative for Ireland, and the author of Nerosunero.

In Rome, at the end of the Seventies, I worked as an humorist for IL Male and then for Zut, two very popular Italian satirical magazines. I moved to Dublin in the late 80s where I studied Medieval History and in 1995 I was awarded a PhD by Trinity College Dublin. However fortune wanted something else for me and I have recently been working as an illustrator, graphic artist (for MGL, an archaeologist's consultant group), and cartoonist. The main source of my income is from my full time work at MGL.
