Most of the time I work
with a make-up
artist who is also
involved in the creative process. Making images or pieces of art of
people is my specialization. In my shoots I offer an enthusiastic
person (me) and a good creative concept. My latest photographic
art projects in The Netherlands have been covered several times by
Dutch
television and have had very good reviews in national newspapers. The
blueprint for my projects is to make a good and creative 'product' and
have lots of fun along the way to realising the project, so I am always
in search of people who can help in several ways.
The most important people I seek are those who want to be in front of
my lens, but it's usually not a problem finding them.
Most of the time models contact me for a shoot. That is a big luxury and though my photography seems unconventional people are getting in line to end up with a fish or in the sea in the middle of winter. I always treat the people I work with, with a lot of respect.
I also look for make-up artists and sometimes stylists. I also need people who want to help me with mailings and press releases and people who can show me around and assist during shoots and the creative proces.
I
think it's great to work on my photography and art and take
unconventional pics of people in an unconventional way. It's a
little
bit fashion but certainly not commercial. Always with a twist
