This month Klaus Thymann releases his book "Hybrids" which features gay rodeo, underwater striptease, snow polo and a religious theme park. The book catalogues the undiscovered areas on the cultural map from the techno hippies at Burning Man festival to a strangely seductive underground garden in Tokyo.

Shot from 2003 to 2007, the book celebrates the diversity and unconventionality of these hybrids while portraying an extraordinary range of contemporary individuals.
