"Looking at photography along a career path, I think it is good to have a consistent style and preferably a recognizable one too. Photography is a lot about style, a great photo will always have style (and style differs from one photographer to another). But while I am pretty sure that style is towards the top of the list, I think content is even more important.

The two go hand in hand, style and content, and in my work the content is very often the conceptual work I do prior to executing the shoot. I think it is incredibly important to have a clear vision when starting on a shoot, but then to be able to improvise and explore as one is shooting.

One should constantly explore and seek out new ways of doing things, and always be looking for ways to improve ones images. It is important to know that photography is an ongoing progression and that one has never taken one's best shot yet, there is always room for improvement."
