This particular group is consciously cinematic with a reference to classical painting.  Sometimes people will see a grouping like this of my pictures and think I am this horrid depressed individual with so many issues I can't even be spoken to.  I find that hilarious. Actually I am one of the happiest, easiest going people I know.  I am one of those outdoorsy healthy types who loves his girlfriend, loves his dog, loves his life, and is having a great time of it.

I do these dark images to sort of tweak myself, or maybe just because I can.   I remember talking to Cindy Sherman once and she told me she really likes to gross herself out.  I identify with that.  Sometimes I like to get dark just for the fun of it.
