These shots are from two series. The 'New York Nudes' was featured in the Summer 2007 issue of Purple magazine. 

I have always been fascinated by the sister dynamic. For 'Raina & Trilby', which was commissioned by Dune magazine in Tokyo, I chose to continue shooting nudes and to push myself to uncover something more. In general I want to make pictures that you can look at and actually feel the moment...where you feel the presence of the place and the people. The models in this series are sisters, which in my view makes it a more compelling study.
