When I started with photography I was deeply involved in photojournalism. I wanted to step on a landmine like Robert Capa. When I was at Antonelli I won three awards in photojournalism. I also had a fashion course with Todd Murray and it really struck a nerve with me. Todd always had an 'anything goes' attitude when it came to fashion. I really loved the freedom and started working on a lot of fashion photography.

Shortly thereafter I discovered the work of Austrian painter Egon Schiele. The bizarre posing and raw sexuality appealed to me and I began doing 'fine art nudes.' Few things have changed since then.
