I grew up in Finland. All I ever wanted to do when growing up was to draw. I could never really imagine any other kind of career path than something art related, hence from the 7th grade onwards I attended a school where art subjects were emphasized.

Later, after having worked as a private entrepreneur in Finland, laying out a magazine, taking graduation portraits and similar work, I moved to England in 1999. I work as an Art/Design Editor in a trade magazine in London, which means that I am responsible for the whole visual side of the publication. In 2003 I moved back to Finland, but my employer didn't want to let me go and we came to an arrangement where I work from home for most of the time and travel to London once a month to be at the office at press time. I've been traveling back and forth for nearly five years now, although I'm planning to move back to the UK by the end of the year. Who knows what the future holds for me after that.
