Across the street, contractors are working on an apartment, and are looking over at Ivy and the rest. On their faces: confusion mixed with disbelief as they watch her team go through a regular day at the office, editing portfolios and preparing for deadlines. By the afternoon, the workmen are congregated at the window … gawking, really.
