First Kiss

Prince Martin lives in the mid-size, mid-state, smallish-but-not-small town of Austin, Texas with her two children and her husband – a writer. When she’s not creating, she’s “chasing her boys around or dreaming of wrap-around porches”.  But neither does this define her. Before becoming a Texan, Prince Martin spent 14 years working in the artistic hubs of Los Angeles and New York. She attended Cal Arts and New York’s School of Visual Arts studying film, fine art, and critical theory.  After college, she completed a feature film with producer Cary Woods (whose works include: Swingers, Beautiful Girls and Gummo).  A CV such as this describes an artist skilled in a myriad of media and backed by a formal knowledge of her craft.
