I am currently assisting local fashion photographers in Vancouver.  Through assisting, I’ve learned a lot about how photographers work technically, and how they engage their own business.  It is also a good way to network with talented people in the industry, such as photographers, makeup/hair stylists, wardrobe stylists, and models as well.  I really suggest new photographers assist to gain more experience in their fields.
