I am an American raised in Minneapolis, I was born in Winona, Minnesota.

I went to college and got a BA in Journalism at Marquette University, had a career as a Marine for seven years and left to return to photography, I went to RIT, left after a year, and interned at Money Magazine, and the Beaver County Times.  I landed a full time job at the Gallup Independent, left after three years, going to Dallas to assist for almost a year and came back to Gallup.  I worked at the Gallup Independent for a year and then left to be the graphics and photo editor for a start up weekly- leaving after a year.  Now I freelance, shoot stock, and teach.
