Leonard
Nimoy was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 26, 1931. He
was educated at Boston English High School and began an acting career
at 8 in a stage production of "Hansel and Gretel". At 18 he left for
California and after a brief time in the army began a long career in
film and television as an actor and director. Nimoy now devotes his energies to photography. "I'm withdrawn from both. I'm not accepting any acting or directing offers. I've had enough of that,'' Nimoy has said. "This is what I'm doing." |
