While the technical steps involved are very precise and lengthy, the concept for an image appears to me in thought at one instant, in perfect arrangement. The difficulty is in the translating of the visual idea, and every technical step betrays the initial idea. It's a compromise.

While they are created using many elements, these images are still photographs. Not only is every piece of the composition a photograph, but the process of creation and editing is exactly the same as used by more traditional photographers.
