I woke up in the middle of the night with a vision for the silver and black beauty look, and called up David McNeese to see if he’d be up for doing this shoot. I then found the perfect model in Kate, who has an amazing face for beauty.
I met Kate through another photographer colleague. She does quite a bit of modeling; I wanted to get a pro who knew how to work the look for the camera.
I feel that I am very versatile when it comes to makeup, however if I had to narrow it down I would say that all my makeup has a clean look to it, even when it has a lot of color.
If you're just starting out in the makeup business, don't give up or get discouraged, it just takes time. Don’t listen to those who are pessimistic about this field. You just need to do what you love, and it will pay off.
