On the evening before shooting I was out near my hotel looking for places to shoot. It was a pretty quiet street with an empty building next to the hotel and an interesting set of round steps by an old church.

By the time I got back from my walk someone had set up a cardboard house on the steps. Sometimes you need some luck, the cardboard house was gone on shooting day, packed away nearby. The guy came back to set it up just as we were finishing.

During the day the empty building I had spotted teemed with construction workers who were pretty happy to see models walking by not just once, but several times. You can see Yana posing on the round steps here.
