Saint Minnie Blasphemy
I don’t usually take my own photographs for my works. I use bad and ordinary pictures taken by my models: so they are important as blind chance. The model's tastes, their thoughts and their looks are the background for my works.
When I create the work, I may have another image in mind, with some similarity to the end result. Sometimes I have nothing in mind. My mind-image comes through the materials (photos or pens) and something else is born. I think that one's mental image must be flexible to the materials like the materials must be flexible to the idea.
