I find my models simply in the street, at times via the Net. I cooperate with a few model agencies. I can’t imagine fashion photography without the assistance of make-up artists and hair stylists. As far as nudes are concerned, I try to work on my own so as to go beyond fashion and make it more artistic. What I appreciate most in the works of other photographers is the atmosphere and a clever idea. In a photo, I value originality and an element of surprise. To my mind, the use of light, which is the most important constituent of a picture, is what creates an atmosphere. I like photos whose author is in control of light and consciously makes it another element of the composition. That is why I greatly admire Paolo Roversi and Erwin Olaf. My favourite fashion photographers are Steven Meisel and Terry Richardson.
