Seattle has grown so much that people hardly stop to recognize its beauty. I enjoy walking around a large park that used to be a Navy base.  Grass, trees, lake and abandoned buildings. I came up with the idea for this story during a bicycle ride along the Burke Gilman Trail which, at the time, was lined with freshly dropped leaves in all kind of colors.
