Phil-Maurice Germansderfer (aka Sin Vida Padre) was born in Western Ukraine in the former Soviet Union. He is a chemical engineer by profession.  From early childhood on, art has remained an important part of his life. He completed formal training for the violin at conservatory at the age of 16(?).  He later chose to continue his education at Polytechnic Institute, where he received his education in chemical engineering. He has lived in the Boston area for the past 20 years since emigrating from the former Soviet Union. Photography was always something that he loved, and has developed his own, unique styles in portraiture and landscape.
