I loved Helmut Newton. When I saw his show at the International Center for Photography 3 years ago I actually teared up at the first print. I look at Diane Arbus, Ellen von Unwerth, some contemporaries like Danielle Levitt, and my good friend Patryce Bak. I have a lot of respect for the career of Steven Meisel. I like Carter Smith, too. Plus he's cute. Paolo Roversi's work is always breathtaking.
