Self portraits came about with a project I set myself to do called " Boys will be Boys".

Inspired by the desire to send a Valentine's Day Image to my friends I rehearsed several self portraits.

I quickly became fascinated with the idea of exploring "My Self", my capabilities and limitations, my joys and my fears. Self portraits, being my own model, gave the opportunity to confront me, to invite my self to a journey of self discovery, to invite my self to lunch, stage my past and erase its faults, stage my dreams and make them reality, stage my future and make it come true.

It became a spiritual journey that will certainly not last a life time as I already plan to explore others styles, but will remain with me forever aiming for a couple of self shoots a year through out my life time. A way of stopping time to reconsider my path as I live and grow along.
