She studied architectural design which, she says, seemed to be the right field for recognizing details in the structure of objects, people and the environment.
Ilona began her study of photography in the early ´90s after seeing a photo exhibition featuring the new digital media. For the last three years she has concentrated on monochrome fine art photography.
"Photography, in my opinion, is
also an open door to personal creativity, like paintings which are not
necessarily reality. From this point of view the results are more then
photography in a classical style."
