First, I get an
idea on what or how I can photograph myself, then I get my tripod with
my EOS 300D. I build up a background and, the most difficult part, try
to get a perfect focus on myself. Usually I calculate two meters from
the lens and then shoot myself to take a look at the focus. If this is
not enough I search for a little focus point near the position where I
sit to take the self portrait, and generally close the stop to between
5.6 and maximum 8, but I prefer 5.6 or less. And then I sit in front of
my 300dD and... I pray, after the first shot taken with the remote
control, I pray that I can finally create.
